Professor Douglas Easton

Professor Easton is a Professor of Genetic Epidemiology in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at the University of Cambridge, and a Director of Cancer Genetic Epidemiology Research Group.

 

Professor Nitzan Rosenfeld

Director of Barts Cancer Institute at Queen Mary University of London.

Professor Rosenfeld is also a group leader at Rosenfeld Lab, and leading on ctDNA detection as an early marker for breast cancer detection.

 

Professor Marc Tischkowitz

Professor Tischkowitz is a Professor of Medical Genetics at the University of Cambridge and an honorary consultant with the East Anglian medical genetics service.

 

Professor Alison Dunning

Professor Dunning is a Professor of Cancer Genetics & Applied Epidemiology, and a director of Postgraduate Education at the University of Cambridge.

 

Professor Antonis Antoniou

Professor Antoniou is a Professor of Cancer Risk Prediction in Department of Public Health and Primary Care at the University of Cambridge.

 

Professor Fiona Gilbert

Professor Gilbert is a Professor of Radiology. Her role is to provide leadership to the diverse imaging community at the university and responsible for imaging research and radiological undergraduate teaching. Her clinical work and research are focused on imaging techniques relating to breast cancer and oncology.

 

Louise Lucraft

Louise is the Study Coordinator and oversees the day to day running of the study.

Emily is the Database Coordinator and manages project data.

 

Hannah Daybell

Hannah is the Research Assistant and prepares tumour samples.

 

Dr Wendy Cooper

Dr Wendy is a Research Scientist at Cancer Research UK and is involved in the early detection of ctDNA.

 

Dr Grainne Mc Andrew

Dr Grainne is a Postdoctoral Scientist at CRUK Cambridge Institute developing molecular diagnostics, including NGS for infectious disease identification and epidemiological studies - particularly healthcare-associated infections, deployment of rapid molecular diagnostics in resource-limited settings.

 

Dr Arif Anwer Surani

Dr Arif is a Research Scientist in Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, University of Cambridge. He is also in part of the Rosenfeld group, leading the project to design an assay to detect methylation changes in ctDNA.

 

Dr Dmitry Shcherbo

Dr Dmitry is a Senior Research Scientist in Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, University of Cambridge. 

 

Craig Luccarini

Craig is the Laboratory Manager at Strangeways Research Laboratory.

 

Patricia Harrington

Patricia is a Laboratory Technician at Strangeways Research Laboratory and is involved with the processing and storing of blood samples when they arrive.

 

Dr Penny Moyle

Dr Penny is a consultant radiologist who has worked in the Cambridge Breast Unit since January 2010 and she is also the clinical lead for the ultrasound department.

 

Dr Elena Provenzano

Dr Elena is a lead pathologist for several research projects in breast cancer.
